The beginning.

Founding of Sidas by three ski instructors: Their personalities and beliefs positioned Sidas on the booming SKI market, with the development and marketing of a solution to ensure foot comfort while skiing: A footbed moulded to the shape of the foot. This activity is growing internationally (US, EU, Japan).

New Markets.

Under the initiative of Patrick Boismal, Sidas branched out into a new market: Medical applications creation of the PODIATECH trademark therapeutic solutions for professional foot specialists (orthotics) Sidas is committed to making customized solutions available to everyone: by passing its expertise on to professionals by informing the public and raising awareness of the importance of the foot.

Specialists.

Sidas trained: 300 boot-fitters and 200 professional foot specialists.

Objectives met.

The objective fixed was achieved while respecting company values. Innovation: constant, always a key part of everyone’s work ethic, recognised and rewarded. Enthusiasm and performance: Experts, orthopaedic centres and top athletes are actively involved in the success of Sidas projects.

Partnership.

SIDAS joined the project "fi'zi:k cycling shoes" to develop the best moldable insole that permit cyclist to pedal better in term of comfort and performance. Comfort, dynamic support and improved alignment.

SIDAS developed in partnership with fi'zi:k the fi'zi:k moldable cycling insole "ready to ride".
