The multi-directional outer edged carbon fiber reinfoerce strength while the bi-directional orientation of the shells inner carbon and kevlar woven fibers provide comfort. The transition between the two carbon structures is seamless. The combination of the two materials allows the saddle to flex but only to the point that the stiff outer shell will permit, because the kevlar/carbon shell is essentially “bonded” to its stiff outer shell: hammock-like feeling - amazing comfort.
