Cannondale Pro Cycling Team

Cannondale Pro Cycling Team

Although Cannondale Pro Cycling Team may be the youngest WorldTour team, with an average age of 26, its riders have succeeded in scoring enviable results over the team’s ten-year history. Most notably, the team has won stages at every Grand Tour, Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico, the overall classification at the Giro d’Italia, Criterium du Dauphiné, Tour of Missouri, the Tour of Utah, the USA Pro Challenge, Tour of Alberta and three monuments – Paris-Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège and Il Lombardia. National champions from Australia, Brazil, Germany, The Netherlands, South Africa and the United States have all called Slipstream Sports home. In 2007, Slipstream Sports, LLC took over management of the development team that Jonathan Vaughters founded 5 years earlier. The new team was home for riders wanting to work hard and race clean, and operated as a Professional Continental outfit before making the leap to the WorldTour in 2009. While the team’s title sponsors and sporting name have changed over the years, its distinctive argyle pattern has featured in every kit since inception.
