Mark Cavendish, aboard his fi’zi:k Arione saddle , ended his road season in style on Sunday by winning the final stage of the Abu Dhabi Tour. It was the 31-year-old Briton’s second stage victory of the race after he beat Giacomo Nizzolo in a direct sprint for the line. As the world has seen numerous times over the years, Cav soon followed and did the rest, confirming that he is the world’s greatest sprinter.

‘My teammates controlled the group really well the whole day,’ Cavendish commented after the race. ‘I got an incredible lead-out; Mark Renshaw was very calm going into the finale. I just had to jump.’
