TERRA ERGOLACE X2 is a rugged, adaptable, lace-up mountain biking shoe that’s true to the roots of off-road riding: tackling every kind of terrain, happy going up and down hill, on and off the bike.
Ergolace
The Ergolace pattern cradles the foot, securing the fit with an ergonomic lace-up closure. The upper offers protection from the elements with a hardwearing ripstop woven fabric to resist ripping or tearing. A PU-laminated toecap and side reinforcements add further protection and durability. We designed the silhouette specifically to reduce bulk and avoid the puffy look of many off-road and MTB shoes, making it ready to blend in with civilization when the backcountry missions are complete.
X2 Outsole
The X2 outsole further enhances the versatility of these shoes. Engineered for an optimal balance between efficient pedaling performance and flexibility, X2 delivers comfort and control on and off the bike, so riders stay covered during any hike-a-bike moments. The compressed EVA midsole provides stability and cushioning while the Vibram XS Trek Evo rubber tread ensures grip and traction, whatever the conditions underfoot.

Per ora le ho usate una sola volta (uscita di 90km prevalentemente su asfalto con temperatura fresca) e mi sono trovato bene: la suola ha un buon grip sui pedali anche quando non sono agganciato, i lacci sono molto pratici, la scarpa è ben ventilata e comoda anche per camminare. Uso abitualmente scarpe barefoot quindi sono abituato ad avere molto spazio per le dita, per questo motivo ho preso una taglia in più rispetto alla mia normale per non sentire il piede troppo costretto. Calza sicuramente più stretta rispetto alle mie scarpe abituali ma anche con calze spesse non ho avuto fastidio dopo ore in sella. Vedremo come si comporteranno al primo viaggio più lungo ma fin qui le premesse sono incoraggianti.

The shoes are well made and very nice looking but unfortunately I had to return them due to my feet being a little wide they fitted me too tight and a little shallow otherwise I would of kept them but it seems the the cycling shoe industry is making all of the shoes narrow I just wish if they would offer at list one model a little wider for some of us folks with wider feet I have already tried other brands and I was hopping Fizik was going to solve my problem.

Laces on the shoes that I received were different length. Fizik support sent me new pair of laces which was good. The shoes themselves for some reason prevent blood flow in the foot when normally tied at the base. To ride them, I have to loose laces completely at the base of the shoe. This makes them loose. To be fair this is my first pair of clip-less shoes, will compare them later to some other models.

Qualitativ sehr hochwertiger Schuh. Sehr gut für längere Radtouren geeignet: Er mehr als ausreichend steif für Klickpedale und eignet sich gleichzeitig auch für nicht zu anspruchsvolle Wanderungen, durch die tolle Vibramsohle. Obwohl eher für kälteres Klima gedacht, schwitzen die Füße auch an 30Grad-Tagen nicht zu sehr. Ich bin absolut begeistert, auch von meinem zweiten Paar fizik-Schuhe!
