I want to evaluate the experience with Fizik. I have always had problems purchasing bike shoes due to the rather wide sole and high instep. It seems impossible but of all the best shoe brands, the only one that also features the foot width in the size guide is Fizik. The others always limit themselves to giving an indication of the length or at most including a 2E (wide) version in the catalog but without ever real specifications on the size. I have always avoided Fizik because the common opinion is that of a shoe for a narrow fit. But recently I learned that they have introduced wide versions. So I tried following their size chart. I purchased 2 shoes directly from the site and they arrived in 2 days. I chose the most suitable one and returned the other one. I really appreciated the free return shipping, which is essential to be able to correctly evaluate the choice. Mine is not a whim, it is a real need and only Fizik was able to satisfy me. The price is not very low but. For the comfort I found I can't ask for more. I advise Fizik to insist on the wide sole, I have many friends who have the same problem as me and I would be happy to see the catalog expanded with even wider shoes or high insteps. Great work and thank you, you solved a decades-old problem for me

Good looking shoe. I’d say in day light looks more pink/purple but in darker days looks darker too. Closure system feels nice, pressure feels even over my foot. Footbed is quite hard though, I may need to get a softer one but that personal. Other May like the supplied ones. Quality lacks ever so slightly, having only worn them three times there is fraying of stiching around the BOA closure on the right shoe which is annoying. Overall, I’d recommend them.

Half sizes and a wide fit - not a common combination. This is a second pair for me as they’re easily the best fitting Cycling shoe I’ve had. The cleat fits sufficiently far back on the sole to avoid cramp (which I used to suffer from a lot when sizing up to get sufficient room in the toe box of other shoes). The only thing I’d change would be to add a second Boa dial as it can take a few miles before the closure tension evens out across the foot.

Shooe looks better in person than pictures. However the size is about 1/2 to a full size larger than my normal 46 Eu in moste other brands. I got 45.5 and they are still a little bit loose. I have ridden twice on the trainer and all is well well. Road test soon!

Meeeega geile Optik - ich liiieeebe die Farbe. Prinzipiell hat mit die "halbe Größe" dann auch gepasst, nur leider ist die Zunge sehr Hart. Ich glaube das wird dann auf Dauer am Bein weh tun (bin da echt empfindlich was sowas an geht). Noch dazu habe ich das Gefühl, das die Farbe evtl. nicht lange halten wird (Knicke usw. sind Material bedingt vorprogrammiert, was dazu führen wird das es abblättert). Ich habe mich deswegen für einen anderen Schuh entschieden (auch Fizik).

I always thought that riding shoes had to hurt your feet! That is until I bought the Fizik Tempo Overcurve R5. That are super comfortable, have a wider toe box (I ordered the wide shoes) and are beautifully made. I loved them so much I purchased a second pair.

I am glad finally I can get a REAL wide cycling shoe, the toe box is roomy! Feel even better after putting a carbon insole. I wish the lace has more cushion, feel the plastic wire pinching the top of my foot and create hot spot after 2-3 hrs.

Fit like a glove! I’ve always struggled with finding shoes that are wide enough, but these are perfect (and gorgeous). I learned that under “normal” non-wide standards, I’ve had to go one full size up to accommodate my wide feet. With these shoes that accommodate the width, however, I actually was able to go a full size down. They are so nice I don’t even want to ruin them by riding! Bravo, fizik

I’ve tried the a few different wide shoes and all were too snug. My right foot is wider than my left so for most of those shoes the right was the issues. These fit perfect and are extremely comfortable for long rides! I love them and hope they add a wide option to a gravel shoe or a Mtn Boke shoe!

I have only tried these for a few indoor rides on Zwift so far, but they are the best fitting Fizik's I have. Went a 1/2 EU size down and went with the wide version. They fit better side to side and front to back than my Infinito R1s which I have in leather and knitted.

These shoes are amazing, the colors are insane and they do change depending upon light and angle. They run true to size and can be ordered in half sizes. Width is around a W to 2E but there is room in the toe box area. The dual tightening system makes it easy to take off and put on.

I have very wide feet such that I often need to use shoes that are too long that result in breaks at the toes. The Tempo Oversize fit perfect and true to size. The lace system works like a charm. Highly recommend.

I recommend for the Tempo Overcurve R4 Iridiscent Wide shoes that you measure your largest foot without socks and then add 4-5mm and select shoe from the chart. This is around three quarters of a size down from your normal shoe size but it is important because any extra space in a shoe will cause inefficiencies and blisters . For me this was perfect and probably the most attractive shoe out there.
