F.A.Q
Product Info
Actually, the choice of the shoe size is very personal, so it is difficult to give you an advice behind a screen. The best thing would be to try the shoes on.
We anyway recommend to rely on our Fizik Shoe Sizing Guide that you find on our website. You just need to print it out (in 100% scale), and position your barefoot on the grid in it.
Finally, let me kindly remind you that we offer free returns, so you will not have to pay extra costs if the size does not fit.
All our saddles are tested to support maximum 120 kg.
We kindly ask you to fill in the following form. BOA asks a few questions and then they should send you a replacement kit for free: https://www.boafit.com/en-us/support/warranty?menucountry=us
The BOA replacement kit will include instructions, along with instructions being available on their website.
According to our experts, if your sit bone distance is above 110 mm, we recommend opting for the wider size.
Alternatively, since saddle width is a very personal choice, here is a general guideline you can follow:
- If your riding position is more aerodynamic/sporty, the Regular (narrower) option is usually preferred.
- If your riding position is more comfort-oriented or endurance-focused, the Large (wider) version is likely more suitable.
To install a fizik saddle correctly, you should keep as reference the point where the saddle is 75mm wide. It is marked on the saddle top and rails and it is the anatomic center of the saddle. You should then position the lever from the 75mm point towards the nose of the saddle and center the bubble. You can find a picture in attachment that shows how to do it, easier done than said!
The maximum torque we recommend for our saddles is 18Nm. We would suggest not to overcome this limit. However, if your seatpost supplier recommends a different torque, then that becomes the limit to which you should use to mount the group seatpost/saddle.
