Nanuq 2 GTX Flat is built for off-road winter riding in all conditions. Fully insulated, waterproof, and breathable, this performance all-terrain shoe is made to handle the harshest climates—with an updated flat-pedal-specific sole that offers the perfect setup for any traditional or e-mountain biker ready to head off the grid. The latest Nanuq features a new last with an updated shape, wider in the metatarsal area to allow more toe movement and a roomier fit, boosting comfort on long, cold rides.

Nanuq 2 GTX Flat is engineered for extreme winter conditions, featuring a GORE-TEX Cirrus XT membrane to keep your feet warm and dry while delivering advanced breathability on even the coldest, wettest rides. This PFAS-free technology also comes with a reduced carbon footprint. A cozy insulated fleece liner and insole provide lasting warmth in low temperatures, while the durable ripstop woven upper resists abrasion and tearing, offering reliable protection on unpaved roads and muddy trails.

For enhanced durability and protection, Nanuq 2 GTX Flat features thermo-laminated PU reinforcement on the toecap, heel, and side areas. A BOA-controlled fit system delivers a quick, micro-adjustable fit, easily fine-tuned on the fly—even with winter gloves. Prioritizing an easy-to-wear, comfortable fit together with enhanced winter protection, the new design of Nanuq features a mid/high-cut construction for additional coverage to keep the elements out, while the zippered ankle cuff simplifies entry into the shoe.

The revised X2 Flat outsole provides the type of shoe-to-pedal interface you need for fast trail riding and gravel adventures, combining the stickiest Vibram XS Ride rubber compound with a specific zonal lug pattern. The mid-foot area has lower lugs with a more regular shape to improve the mechanical grip with the pedals; the pedal pins fit better in the grooves of the outsole locking the shoe in place, even on rougher tracks. To improve ground traction during hike-a-bike moments, we took inspiration from other outdoor disciplines to develop a more aggressive tread under the heel and toes—places where the outsole doesn’t interact with the pedal. Here, the lugs are taller and the pattern is wider to dig into the ground better.
