FIZIK When do you usually recommend the Aeris Long Distance shape?

NQ I usually recommend the Aeris LD to athletes sitting on the nose or capable of an aggressive pelvic (forward) tilt. I believe that performance is strongly connected with sustainability of the position, so the Aeris with its split nose is really helpful with all the triathletes that are looking for comfort over time.

FIZIK How often do you recommend cyclists to reconfirm or update their position/fit on the bike?

NQ Bike fit has two main goals: prevent/accomodate injuries and improve performance, so it’s a good attitude to have your bike fit quite regularly during the season. A regular bike fit schedule will help to prevent injuries or find room for performance improvement with new components or scientific studies. I usually recommend a detailed fit session at the beginning of the season and one to three checks during the season, depending on the athlete's goals and experience.

FIZIK Which saddle are you using on your bike(s)?

NQ Actually, I switch between lots of saddles to try different feelings, but my go to is a Vento 00 in 140mm on my road bike. On my triathlon bike my choice is the Aeris LD One-to-One, coming from a Pro Stealth that I rode for the last months.

FIZIK Did you work or are you working with any athlete you’re proud of?

NQ I work with many elite athletes I am really proud of, but if I have to pick one, it is Leo Bergere because I love his mindset and I followed all his growth process (with his staff) over the last years to take bronze at the Paris Olympics. He is so sensitive to small changes that it is a pleasure to work with him.
