TEMPO POWERSTRAP R5 is a versatile road cycling shoe with an innovative Velcro closure designed for an enveloping fit.
Powerstrap
While most Velcro closures simply pull together two sides of the shoe’s upper, in this configuration a ribbon wraps around the foot, enabling ultimate comfort and containment using just two straps.
In this way, the system replicates the principle of Fizik’s Volume Control: the instep and the midfoot are separately adjustable areas that provide a fully customized fit and compression.
R5 Outsole
The R5 Nylon composite outsole is supple and comfortable even in the long haul but without compromising pedalling efficiency.
Reflective
The fizik Tempo Powerstrap R5 Reflective now adds a reflective microtex upper to the shoe. Allowing for greater visibility on the road, its reflective finish increases rider safety whilst providing a unique and attractive look.

These shoes are great!! Rigid so you feel the power distribution from leg to foot to pedal.
The reason for three stars is because my pair came with one of the cleat eyelets unthreaded. The eyelet would not allow for the bolt to bite. Thankfully that wasn't an end all be all, I was comfortable tapping the eyelet myself and was able to, which allowed me to properly secure the cleat to shoe.
BUT if these shoe would have been delivered to someone less mechanically savvy it would have made for a disappointing day, annoying to have to return the pair to be swapped out, unable to ride, etc. etc.
Mistakes happen, that's life. I am not condemning Fizik and I certainly am not writing off their products, just wanted to share my experience. Prost!

I ordered a half size smaller than I wear in another brand, but I might have been able to wear a full size smaller. The cleat holes seem closer to the front than some, so my cleats are mounted almost all the way back. I love the finish and fastening system, these are a great value and I'd buy them again.

Sehr gute Passform, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich mag an dem Schuh, dass er ohne BOA-Ringe ist. So passen die Winter-Überschuhe besser über den Schuh. Im Sommer ist der Schuh vielleicht ein wenig zu warm. Kein Schuh für die Top-Performace und Gewichts-Junkies, aber ein solider und schicker Schuh. Die reflektive Oberfläche finde ich super.

These reflective grey shoes arrived very fast to me here in the states. They fit true to size and fit and feel perfectly. I installed my cleats and took them for a test ride. I love the look of the shoe. However, it took 3 shots to find one that actually fit. I printed and used your size chart since some shoes fit differently. It was off by at least a full size. I ordered a size down to what is my normal size. Still a little big and hurt my feet. I ordered a 1/2 size down. They are almost too small. I give up. As much as I love the look of the shoes, they won’t work for me.

These are my first roadcycling shoes. I've been using gravel shoes with mtb spd pedals, for past two years.
Thanks to my new Fizik shoes I've become real road cyclist :)
Shoes are amazing, very comfortable. Velcro strips are perfect. Very easy to use, very simple to adjust on the fly.
Reflective look looks good. My only concern is to keep them clean and without scratch.

I'm very happy with these shoes. They are great value for money and attractive in their simplicity.
I have broad feet, so have to be wary of sizing. I am usually a 44, and bought a 44 1/2, which have turned out to be perfect for me. The velcro fastenings are elegant and simple, and the shoes were comfortable right away for three and four hour rides.
My only concern is keeping the finish clean - I have a couple of oil spots already, which haven't completely disappeared with soap and water.
