3D-gedruckte Polsterung
Die technologischen Möglichkeiten des digitalen 3D-Drucks haben es uns ermöglicht, einen neuartigen Sattel zu entwickeln, ohne die Einschränkungen, die traditionelle Herstellungsverfahren und Materialien bedingt mit sich bringen. Die Adaptive Sattelpolsterung wird von Carbon mit der revolutionären Digital Light Synthesis-Technologie hergestellt. DLS ist ein additives Fertigungsverfahren, das digitale ultraviolette Lichtprojektion, sauerstoffdurchlässige Optik und steuerbare Flüssigharze verwendet, um Bauteile mit hervorragenden mechanischen Eigenschaften, Auflösung und Oberflächengüte herzustellen.
Maßgeschneiderte zonale Dämpfung
Die Technologie von Carbon bietet Biomechanikern und Ingenieuren noch nie dagewesene Möglichkeiten: es können mehrere funktionsbezogene Zonen innerhalb des Sattels entworfen und hergestellt werden, wobei jede von ihnen separat auf spezifische mechanische Eigenschaften abgestimmt wird. Jede dieser funktionellen Schlüsselzonen ist für unterschiedliche Dämpfungseigenschaften und mechanisches Verhalten ausgelegt und wird progressiv und nahtlos in der gleichen Polsterung zusammengefügt. Das Ergebnis? Eine Verringerung von Druckspitzen um 60 % durch eine verbesserte Gewichtsverteilung für mehr Komfort über die gesamte Sattelfläche.
Argo für jeden Untergrund
Unsere vielseitigste Sattelform, der Argo, eignet sich für eine Vielzahl von Fahrrädern und Bodenbelägen. Ob auf glattem Asphalt oder in technischem Gelände - der Argo hilft dem Fahrer, eine bessere Sitzposition einzunehmen und sorgt so für mehr Stabilität und eine bessere Gewichtsverteilung. Außerdem bietet das kürzere Drop-Nose-Design hervorragenden Halt, wenn man sich in eine leistungsorientierte, aerodynamische Fahrposition begibt.
Entwerfen, Testen, Fahren
Um die idealen Adaptive-Komfortzonen zu entwickeln, haben wir die verschiedenen Fahrpositionen und Druckpunkte von professionellen Radfahrern und Hobbyfahrern gleichermaßen untersucht, sowohl in den Fizik-Laboren als auch draußen auf den Straßen, Schotterwegen und Trails. In jeder Entwicklungsphase wurden neue Varianten sorgfältig getestet, wobei der Schwerpunkt darauf lag, zu verstehen, wie sich das Druckverhalten je nach Fahrradgeometrie, Sitzposition und Untergrundart verändert.
Lang anhaltende Performance
Die Pflege des Sattels ist sehr einfach. Selbst bei hartnäckigem Dreck, Staub oder Schlamm von den Trails brauchen Sie ihn lediglich mit etwas Wasser abzuspritzen. Was auch immer hineingelangt, kommt auch wieder heraus. Wir haben ihn intensivsten Tests unterzogen, bei denen wir eine beschleunigte Witterungseinwirkung, UV-Alterung und Verschleißfestigkeit nach strengen Vorgaben simuliert haben.

Got it and rode a 25 mile ride. Was a little too high and it caused a sore under my sit bones. I lowered it a half inch and rode 75 miles and had no issue, even with the saddle sore still there. Fingers crossed this will help with the sores I was getting with my leather saddle before.
