A 3D PRINTED PADDING
The evolution of digital 3D printing allowed us to develop a new saddle without the constraints or limitations imposed by traditional production methods and materials. The Adaptive saddle padding is crafted by Carbon using its revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis technology. DLS is an additive manufacturing process which uses digital ultraviolet light projection, oxygen permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with excellent mechanical properties, resolution and surface finish.
TAILORED ZONAL CUSHIONING
Using Carbon technology, biomechanists and engineers have an unprecedented possibility: to design and manufacture multiple functional zones within the saddle, tuning each of them separately for specific mechanical properties.Each of these key functional zones is engineered with a distinctive cushioning and mechanical response, joined together progressively and seamlessly in the same padding.
LAB TESTED, ROAD PROVEN
Professional cyclists and amateur riders were tested in both the fizik labs and on the road. During each development phase, every iteration was carefully tested. A great focus has been put on understanding how the pressure patterns change according to different bike geometries, riding positions, and riding styles.

Thanks to this one-of-its-kind combination of process and material, we’ve been given the chance to develop a product five times faster, creating and field-testing hundreds of iterations. Being applicable to mass production, this technology completely remaps the traditional manufacturing process, accelerating and leaping over all intermediate phases.
LONG-LASTING PERFORMANCE
The saddle is very easy to clean. Even with the filthiest road muck, all you need to do is simply hose it over with water. Whatever gets in, gets out. We’ve put it through the most severe tests, simulating accelerated weathering, UV aging and wear resistance by following strict protocols.

Antares Rx adaptive saddle looks good, and it arrived promptly., There is however an annoying bump at the tip of the round nose of the saddle that catches the crotch of my pants when I'm pedalling standing up. This bump is not on the older 00 adaptive saddle, and it's disappointing this was not fixed in the design phase of production. I don't think this saddle is more comfortable than the Tempo. Why are saddles with the saddle bag clip fitting still being made, but the saddle bag with the clip is not? Also had trouble redeeming the 20% discount promoted at the time of purchase.

selle très chère et pas du tout le confort espéré après 3 sorties et 200 kms faits, aucune aide sur le site pour choisir la taille de selle adaptée!!!! sérieusement, pas de mesure de l'écart des ischions et pas d'aide à la commande en fonction de cela, une fois reçue la selle, (hyper rapide grâce à UPS) aucune indication sur le type de montage dans la boite ou sur internet, youtube ou le site Fizik, c'est pas très sérieux pour un équipement haut de gamme ultra cher (inclinaison, hauteur, angle, recul etc...) alors que la concurrence (Specialized pour ne pas les citer) le fait. La selle en elle même est bien faite mais je n'ai pas du tout un confort meilleur, loin de là, ma selle gel précédente qui coute la moitié du prix de celle ci, me parait finalement plus confortable, j'essaye de peaufiner les réglages mais pour l'instant très déçu de son inconfort alors que c'est l'argument de vente numéro 1 de cet article!....
